Different Types of Crosses

F1: this type of labradoodle is known as the first line of parentage.  One parent is a labrador, the other parent a poodle.

F1B: this type of labradoodle is mating a F1 labradoodle back to a pure-breed poodle.

Multi-generational: this type of labradoodle comes from breeding a labradoodle to a labradoodle.

3 Types of coat possibilities

All are easy to maintain, but not all are allergy-friendly.

1.  This can range from flat to straight, wavy or curly.
This coat sheds in varying degrees.

2.  "Fleece coat", which is like that of an angora goat.
Single coat, soft and curly and should not shed.

3.  "Woolly coat", is much like the coat of a pure-breed poodle.
This coat is the non-shedding dog.

A labradoodle with either the fleece or woolly coat is the dog of choice for allergy sufferers, and these are the types to which we are referring when we mention the non-allergenic, non-shedding coat.

Length of coat anywhere from 4 to 6 inches with colors that include
Cream, cholk, apricot, black, silver, blue, chocolate, coffee, red, gold and cafe'-au-lait.
